MIKAËL MONOT

Engineer and Economist, SNCF Réseau

Mikaël is an engineer and economist working for the French railway infrastructure manager (SNCF Réseau) as responsible for socio-economic evaluation in the Occitanie region.

He began his career in the Paris area, studying socio-economic benefits of railway projects related to high frequented train lines (RER A, RER B, RER D, etc.), before heading for the south of France in 2019.

Ever since, he weighs pros and cons of many kinds of railway projects (urban/suburban, high speed line, reopening lines, etc.) thanks to traffic forecast and the French method for cost-benefit analysis.
